“Do not withhold good from those to whom you should give it if it is within your power to help.”Proverbs 3:27, 28
Dear Family and Friends:
The name Jah-Jireh means “Provision from Jehovah” or "Jehovah will see to it" and is taken from the Bible account at Genesis 22:11-14. Our brothers in Great Britain chose this name because they deeply felt a commitment to provide for our dear older friends in need. Here in the United States, we feel that same way and have established a nonprofit entity, Jah-Jireh Homes of America (JJHA). The board of directors is made up of brothers who all volunteer their time and effort.
Our goal is to provide homes that offer a spiritual alternative to older brothers and sisters concerned that they or their loved ones' spiritual way of life may not be honored in a facility that is not operated by Jehovah’s Witnesses. We recognized that as we age it becomes more difficult to maintain our spiritual routine, to be with our brothers and sisters, and to be a part of a local congregation.
While we have been motivated by the work of Jah-Jireh Charity Homes of Great Britain and other locations around the world, we are not connected with them; nor are we legally affiliated with or endorsed by the United States Branch Office of Jehovah’s Witnesses or any legal entity used by it.
Rather than being a transitional setting, our goal with JJHA is to support those who live there to maintain thier highest level of independence uninterruptedly, not having to move to a nursing home or other care facility, if possible.
We are excited to be part of the team that fosters the mental, emotional, physical, and most importantly, the spiritual well-being of the JJHA family.
The JJHA Board of Directors
